Nadia Ben-Youssef

Nadia Ben-Youssef is a lawyer who works at the intersection of art and advocacy to advance human rights. Since 2010, she has worked closely with Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, first the international advocacy officer in its Naqab (Negev) office, and then as the organization's first USA Representative. Building upon Adalah's US program, Nadia founded the Adalah Justice Project (AJP) to develop public education tools, legal partnerships and community-based advocacy strategies that will shift American discourse and policy on Palestine/Israel. AJP is committed to building a transnational movement against supremacy and state-sanctioned violence together with cause lawyers, community organizers, and artists across social justice movements.
